To find the lowest possible number of employees that can be divided into both 4 equal teams and 6 equal teams, we need to determine the least common multiple (LCM) of 4 and 6.
Hence the answer would be 12
if 4 people in one team= 3 teams
if 6 people in one team= 2 teams
Hence the answer would be 12

We are searching for a number, that has both 4 and 6 as a factor or in other words:
What is the the lowest common multiple of 4 and 6? LCM(4,6)
PLAN
To find the LCM we do prime factorisation and multiply the factors (highest power out of the two).
SOLVE
\(6=2*3\)
\(4=2^2\)
\(LCM(4,6)=2^2*3=12\)
