Sure sure. I have got a 675 in gmat fe, 100 percentile in quant. I have done my undergraduation fro delhi University in Bcom hons (8 CGPA). Extra curricular- 1+ year volunteering, business competitions, leadership role in college startup, events lead and participation, part of dance society and enactus in college. Internship experience: done 4 internships, one in a textile manufacturing house, one at Invest India, brand management for a wealth anagement startup and research intern at a consulting startup. (majorly startup experience) Full time role: I just started at a tech and digital management firm as a. business analyst. I also come from a family business background.

I have 595 in GMAT Focus which converts to 650 in GMAT classic. I also have four years of work experience with KPMG. I was to apply to Bitsom but I'm doubtful whether I will get a call at this GMAT score. Can someone please advise if it's worth applying?

I got a call 3 days ago where they informed me I was shortlisted for an interview. Kudos to BITSoM for having such a leak-proof process where they plan and inform us at every step.

I just had my interview rn. The panel consisted of a professor and an alum of BITS. They made me feel very comfortable since the beginning. They asked me to enjoy the conversation and the process and I really did. Questions were about what I want to do, how will an MBA help etc. Overall experience was similar to what @Aarushi225 had. Could’ve gone better, lets see now...

Hey. I got an Interview Shortlist Email stating I have been shortlisted. Received the email 3 days prior. Folks from BITSoM would also call you to confirm your availability for the given slots.

Hey yes, you’ll get a call from their team, so try and take all calls you get. You’ll also get an email on the registered one you’ve mentioned in the form. You can also login to the portal and the status will change for you and you’ll know that you’ve been shortlisted for an interview.

My interview was on 14th December and I got the call on 11th (R1 reapplicant). I am sharing my interview experience below. Feel free to reach out to me for any queries.

The panel had 1 BITS Pilani Alum and 1 senior academic officer from BITSoM. There was no grilling. They were patient and courteous through a few internet issues on my end.

i applied in R1 with 720 GMAT (9,7,9 profile) GNEM with 2.5 years of marketing work experience and 2 years of internship experience. still haven’t been shortlisted for an interview. are there more people like me or shall i assume my chances of getting a call are next to zero

Hi witcher3333, Until very recently I was preparing for GMAT with IMS coaching centre, hence I’m in touch with quite a few people who have applied in R1 of Bitsom(I myself have applied in R1), as far as I have inquired and researched, your chances of getting an interview invite are still not zero, among all the people that there in my circle through various sources(IMS, GMATClub, Linkedin etc.), majority of the people who have been interviewed have 3 or more than 3 years of full time experience(I’m not sure how will 2 years of internship add up since its a for considerably longer duration in your case). Obviuosly there are exceptions as freshers who have considerbale spikes in academics etc. have also been called. If your test score is 720 in GMAT focus then you definitely expect a call soon because all the people in my circle have received an interview invite with 720 focus irrespective of the profile, if its 720 in GMAT Classis, then its less probable comparatively, but still there are good chances. Would say that don’t slow down your interview prep thinking that you will not receive a call, as your profile is very typical of something that Bitsom will shortlist.

Hi all,
Wanted to check - Does it make sense to apply in Round 2 by 26th Jan without a GMAT/Gre score?

the website says one can submit the score by the 31st of march

Or should I just apply next year with a score in hand?
