G(1)=g(2)=2 and sloving for g(5) is -4

Hello ,
g(5)=g(4)-3
when you substitute value 2 in equation then
g(2)=g(1)
same you can find g(3) and g(4)
g(3)=1
g(4)=-1
g(5)=-4
hope it helps

g(2)=g(2-1)-2+2
g(2)=g(1)
g(3)=g(3-1)-3+2
g(3)=g(2)-1=2-1=1
g(4)=g(3)-4+2=1-2=-1
g(5)=g(4)-5+2=1 g-1-3= -4

Answer: E

g(x) = g(x-1) - x +2, g(2) = 2

g(3) = g(3-1) -3 + 2 = 1
g(4) = g(4-1) - 4 + 2 = -1
g(5) = g(5-1) -5 + 2 = -4
