Hello,
I gave the GMAT Focus today and scored 655. My target was around 685-695 as I was scoring around 675 in the official mocks. The reason for less score is mainly the Verbal Section, which has been the lowest scoring area all throughout my mocks as well.
Please find my profile below, i wanted to get some advice on should i apply in R2 for any colleges or wait to apply in R3. (I am aiming to give GMAT again in 2-3 months for better score)
Nationality - Indian (Non IT , Non Engineer)
Qualifications - 1. B.Com.,
2. Chartered Accountant
3. Diploma from ACCA, UK
Work Ex - 5 Years with 2 promotions, In Jan 2024 I was promoted to the position of manager of my team. Working in one of the Big4 Audit firms.
Extracurricular - Not too many, However, Around April 2024 I started my own website towards topics around Mental Health. I'm running the website by myself, including generating and publishing content. But so far there hasn't been much traffic on it.
My goal has been to get admission in a very good ranking school or where i can get the best exposure (I know that is subjective). I know the M7 are realistically out of scope due to my GMAT score. But are there any other good ranking schools where my profile can be considered competitive and i can potentially apply in the ongoing R2.
Initially my goals have been colleges like Kellogg, NYU, MIT in the US, and LBS / Said / Cambridge in UK. I read HEC Paris and INSEAD are also great colleges based on rankings.
Happy to know your thoughts
