Let the total number of houses be t
Houses with >=3 floors = 0.3t
Houses with <3 floors = 1-0.3t = 0.7t
0.3t + 240 = 0.7t
0.4t = 240
t = 240/0.4 = 600
Houses with >=3 floors = 0.3t
Houses with <3 floors = 1-0.3t = 0.7t
0.3t + 240 = 0.7t
0.4t = 240
t = 240/0.4 = 600
