I dont think the chances are bleak
I am a part of a reputed test-prep company and a lot of our students had applied to ISB
Some great profiles got an interview call, and some great ones didnt whereas some not so great ones also got a call.
So far the logic that I could deduce is that candidates are bucketed as per work experience and not geography (totally conjectural and can be completely incorrect)
I have seen people with higher workex receive calls recently.
P.S - An observation based on tracking application statuses of our students. Not to be taken as fact
