I will have 5 years of work experience as of June 2026. I have spent 1.5+ years at a boutique fintech consulting firm in Mumbai that develops solutions, implements them and consults BFSI w.r.t. risk management. I worked for treasury and ALM there. I have spent 1.5+ years at UBS AG in Firmwide Stress Testing and Reporting for funding and treasury and 1 year in Asset Management in Sustainability and Climate Risk (same bank).
I have R, Python and Power BI experience.
I am a CFA Charterholder, with an 8.8 CGPA in Bachelor of Commerce from a Tier 1 Commerce College in Mumbai. Part qualified actuary from IFoA UK (11/13 exams completed) and 90%+ in both 10-12th.
I have several co curricular activities - badminton (a micro community I formed), found and led a silent reading community, Toastmasters with leadership positions and speech contest prizes and Rotaract alongside some other experiences such as mentoring, teaching a semester at an institute and other college clubs.
However, I want to point out that most people who apply are Male Engineers, and I am a female non engineer. So maybe yes, that could be a reason why a lower GMAT was slightly beneficial (but I think I worked hard and my application has merit too).
