another comment: Although you can take a full load of courses at the GSB if you so choose, you are nonetheless not part of full time recruiting. Although you can attend events, your badge is actually a different color than the full time students.

Can you move to the full-time mba? If no, can you take on a full-time load while still enrolled in the part-time program (in order to finish sooner)?

Can you take off for a semester or two to do an internship?


You posted this 3 years ago and I am sure my comment is no longer relevant to you. But I will try to answer them for others.

I don't know a single reputable part-time MBA program that allows internship through on campus recruiting for its PT students. It is one of the major distinguishing factors between FT and PT students and I don't think that will change. This difference is one of the major reasons why FT is much better if one wants to switch careers.
