Been fairly quiet on here ... when will the R3 invites start dropping? The clock is ticking and I think I'm done all my other January round interviews ... it's cold and sluggish up there in Ithaca I guess.

How long did people receive an interview invite after their applications went under review? I just received an email that my application went under review (and yes it's Sunday night, looks like they're working hard over there).

It was about 2 weeks from review to interview invite for me, but I bet there is a range.

Does anyone know if it is possible to ask for an extension on the admissions decision with Cornell? I had heard that Wharton has an automatic extension if you ask for it. Was wondering if such a thing may exist for Johnson.

Never thought of that, but there might be some merit to that argument. My application went to under review shortly after I submitted an updated GMAT score (710 up from 690). It might have been a complete coincidence, but thought I'd chime in with possibly another data point.

My status is still "submitted", but my GMAT is 760. Tell me how it works now .........

I stated previously that it's random based on where your last name falls in the alphabet.

3 "account managers" - A-G? G-M? P-Z? (something like that)

Depending on how they start your app will be addressed sooner or later...

Does not work either, my last name is in the top, but my first name is at the last. So ....... by first name? ........ I will stop thinking about this process any more. Feel frustrated and tired ........... I am just stupid.

Hey everyone. I know that the application process is tiring, frustrating, annoying ... use whatever words you want ... but I think the smartest thing to do at this point is to take a few deep breaths, relax, and do something to keep your mind occupied. Go to the gym, take your girlfriend/wife out to dinner, play Rock Band ... whatever !

The decision is out of our hands, and there's nothing we can do. I see a lot of folks adding in unecessary stress to their days, and its just not healthy. So step away from the computer and go do something you love ! :)

Good luck !

I love your mellow attitude, TheDream. Couldn't agree more. Replace girlfriend/wife with boyfriend/hubby and you have my strategy down to a T.

I'm sending everyone in the JGSM application process some good luck/calming wishes as I type.

How long does it take for Cornell to get back to someone after they start reviewing the file? Will they be done with all the application reviews before March 23rd? Seems like they are cutting it close.
