you can certainly have the guy/woman send in a letter of support to be attached to your application. I suspect, though, at this point, they might be finalizing their decisions, so whatever you add to your application probably won't carry much weight. But, you never know.

I decided to have my friend send the letter of support. At a minimum, it shows that I am very serious about Wharton. Best case scenario: if I am in then it confirms their decision. If it is a maybe, then it might tip things my way. Worst case: if it is a ding, the letter might get me on the summer waitlist while they manage their yield. So here's hoping it works! Either way we find out in a few days!

Good Luck all!

got on WL at Booth. (R3 applicant).

it could mean a ding for wharton... since wharton is more selective... :-(((

Or can I not speculate like that?

I am a RD2 waitlister.

I guess we'll hear something soon today - myWharton account doesn't have a decision section anymore. It went back to 3 boxes like during the time we were waiting for our decision prior to March 26th.

If anybody else is experiencing the same thing, that could only mean bad news.

if I am the only one, that could be bad or good news.

Anywho, good luck to everyone who's waiting to hear!

Just FYI: I still have 4 boxes.

My impression from previous year forum posts was that if your decision status disappears, you should expect a decision - whether it is an Admit or a Ding. Those who didn't see status changes in the days of decision announcements, were usually wait-listed longer. I don't see a status change, but then again, my letter says 14th as decision deadline, so I may see a change tomorrow, or just be notified I am on the summer waitlist. This is just a speculation, so take it with a grain of salt. Let us know when you see a decision.

Yeah, I 100% agree with your speculation.

My fear for a ding just increased by 200%. The reason why I am being pessimistic is that I know a couple of others besides this forum who've heard from the waitlist. So, I am thinking the Admits would've heard by now, so if a decision is coming down the pipe today, that could mean more of a ding than admit. Oh well, either way, I will post an update soon.

I am an international applicant and waitlisted in R2. I still have four boxes, and I am sure I will not be wait-listed any longer because of visa application. So I guess above speculation might not be correct, anyway, one day to go, let's wait and see.

I'm a r1-r2 waitlister - still have four boxes. Do they definitely not put internationals on the summer waitlist? Also, won't everyone get some sort of decision wether it be admit, ding or waitlist so we should all have updates?

r2 waitlist here. still have four boxes. original waitlist letter is still accessible. I'm hoping for a miracle here that the admissions committee, if they don't accept us for this fall, at least will defer some of us until next year? anybody think that is a possibility at all?

Or maybe 3 boxes means you're going to get accepted and 4 boxes means waitlist or ding... I still have 4
