Yeah, man, I gotta say that's at least a Cherry Vanilla profile. Perhaps even Black Cherry Vanilla depending on how awesome you are at operating the telecom industry.

Does anyone know how much weight the Ross interview carries in the evaluation of an application? I remember seeing something about this somewhere at some point, perhaps in Soojin's blog, but I can't exactly recall. Any insight would be appreciated.

not yet... I'm among those that had to re-send transcripts (GoBruins too) and essays, so let's hope that they're reviewing those at the end. In fact, one positive is that they asked for me to re-send everything by February 3rd, so they've really only had a few days to review. There might also be a grace period for those that were missing documents that were not able to re-send by that date.

Optimism... I sure do love you.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I know that the interview is very important, but I was wondering too if the level of importance increases as the quality/impressiveness of the rest of your application decreases. Is the interview somewhat perfunctory for really strong applicants and do-or-die for weak applicants?

Here's what I got for you guys... the Interview is one component of your file. It is weighted equally among GMAT, GPA, etc. etc....BUT you need to interview to be admitted. So, I don't know. I think the interview is a bigger player than how it's presented, especially for borderline applicants.

Do you mean you have declared that you want to be considered for it in your application?

Didn't initially apply may add it is possible when I get accepted. If I can't add it it's okay. I like the program but I think I rather have flexibility to take classes I don't already have a background in

FYI everyone who has had to re-send admissions materials.

Just got an email from admissions re: my missing materials.... I sent my materials in last Monday so it's been over a week since I sent it in.

An admissions assistant replied today and said they were having "system issues" with their application vendor and documents were not transferring over to Ross. She said: "I can assure you that we have addressed the problem and your materials are now included in your file. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."

Not sure what that means but hopefully we've got at least one more week to wait for interview invites!

Yeah, we kinda all notice the "system issues" I'm actually surprised about embark, it's a very common system. Maybe Ross will switch over to applyyourself like kellogg did this year.

I said I wanted to be considered for Tauber, but now I'm worried that a bad interview could adversely affect my overall consideration by Ross. I am scheduled to interview at Ross, but did not yet book a Tauber interview. Not sure how to play this at all.
