So currently Mccombs only gives decision for those they interviewed?

When the massive dings and decisions will be released for R2? I am internationl and haven't got an interview so far. I believe that is a ding considering the competative situation. however, not getting any official word does keep me nerve racking.

Has anyone heard anything recently?

seems like it's still be pretty quiet, but that could be because it was good friday.
hopefully with the decision deadlines coming up, there will be more clarity as to who gets in

Good Friday is always a half-day at UT (and any Texas state government agencies). That may have something to do with it.

International Applicant here..

I travelled to Austin for my interview, I have been interviewed by Notre
Dame as well, and UT wasn´t anything like that.

Questions were way different of the usual ones (at least the ones I´ve
seen in many blogs and discussions), for example "What does success mean
to you?" / "how do you plan to contribute to UT after school?" / "any regrets at work?" / "what´s the biggest strength and the biggest
weakness on you application?"...
The interviewer just read the questions and wrote on a piece of paper, he
did not established any kind of conversation with me...it was very
awkward..I have been in lots of interviews before (jobs and schools) but
never in one like this..

It´s been two weeks and I haven´t heard from them, Keeping it positive
here...but I really don´t know how I did..

Good luck everyone.

The presence or absence of a conversational component to the interview is really up to the interviewer him/herself. As for the questions, they are given several questions in a variety of categories and get to choose which ones they ask so that too was up to the individual with whom you interviewed.

680 GMAT
3.7 GPA

I just called admissions to make sure my interviewer had in fact submitted her review and the delay is on their side. The guy from MAC I spoke with said that a lot of interviews happen around March 9th, when I had mine, which creates a backlog. That delay is then made worse by the fact that many of MAC members leave for two-week study tours (https://mba.mccombs.utexas.edu/students/ ... tudytours/) around this time.

He did say that usually the applicants hear back 4 weeks after the interview. I'm almost at that mark.

So be patient, friends... we're all in this boat together. :-)

I'm a graduate of the integrated program, and though our application process was a little different, I believe the GMAT average they show (668) is deceptive. I would bet the spread is much wider with more variances from the mean on the lower side. Besides, if you scored a 670 on the GMAT, you have a better pay off going MBA and taking a bunch of the grad accounting classes. The average salary coming out of the MPA program is only $53k.

They use to focus on your undergrad, upper-class GPA much more. As such, the average GPA is sky high if you look at the student profile averages:

Dinged without interview. I am still shocked. They didn't email me. I just happened to check my status on their site. Looks like another year of work for me. Best of luck to all.
