I'm somewhat confused on the review process - Do adcoms treat these applications differently than the general pool? Do adcoms read the core consortium essays (in addition to the school core essays) as part of its review process? Should I go to the traditional application route? For example, my consortium mission essay is not that strong, albeit some experience. The mission of The Consortium is to enhance diversity in business education and leadership by helping to reduce the serious under representation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans in both our member schools' enrollments and the ranks of management. What have you done in your business, academic or personal life to demonstrate commitment to this mission? Please provide specific example of your involvement, actions and results.

I have been reading for a while, but finally decided to post. I am in the same boat with many: nothing from Stern besides log-in and no word yet from Darden. I did get the call from Tuck last Friday and I got in!!! Also got the fellowship from Tuck. Sounds like "official word" wasn't going to come down for a little while, so be patient, as hard as that is....

Has anybody heard anything from Stern regarding admissions decision or fellowship? (I am currently waitlisted).

A number of people have received admissions decisions from Stern, and it seems they are still coming - a friend of mine got the news yesterday.

The online admission offer letter specifies that fellowship (and other aid) info, will be delivered as part of the official admissions packet via snail-mail. So far, I don't know of anyone who has received the admissions packet.

Interesting question! I am curious to hear any info out there. On the Kelley Forum, a Consortium applicant who did not get the Fellowship got the Dean scholarship (full tuition). So my assumption was that they ran out of their allotted spots but really wanted the candidate badly so gave out the Dean $$.

Admitted to TUCK today via CGSM. I'm quite happy, as they were my top ranked school! Nobody was as receptive and warm to my candidacy.

I did not get the fellowship, but again, as a veteran, I am eligible for about $50K of scholarship money in addition to the GI Bill, so membership into the Consortium is really what is important to me. Best of luck to the rest of the people waiting on Tuck, and congrats to the eventual fellowship awardee.
