I assumed this was a joke post, since Columbia State University does not exist and both schools had Columbia in the name -- the only prominent US b-school that has a January start for two year MBAs?

Hi Soumya,
You're right that finding Spring (January) intakes in the USA can be a bit tricky since most top-tier programs follow the Fall cycle. However, there are several reputable schools beyond the ones you mentioned that offer January starts.
Here are a few more to look into:
  • Columbia Business School (J-Term): This is the most prestigious "Spring" intake. It’s an accelerated 16-month MBA that starts in January.
  • Cornell Johnson: Offers an accelerated 1-year MBA that starts in May (which is close to the Spring window).
  • Emory (Goizueta): Offers an accelerated MBA with a Spring entry point.
  • University of Florida (Warrington): They have a very flexible modular system with multiple start dates.
  • Pepperdine University (Graziadio): Often has a Spring intake for their MBA programs.
  • Babson College: Known for entrepreneurship, they frequently offer a January start for their 1-year MBA.
A quick tip: When searching, look for "Accelerated MBA" or "J-Term" (January Term). These are the keywords schools usually use for Spring intakes. Also, double-check if you need a summer internship—most Spring intakes are "accelerated," meaning they skip the summer internship to get you into the workforce faster.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you are looking for a specific region or specialization.

Hey

I have searched a long list of USA b-schools but found only 2 :
1. University of Missouri, Columbia
2. Columbia State University

Can you please let me know if there are any more business schools in USA which includes spring intake?

Regards
Soumya.
