It was number of invites, not percent. The person asked "Sandy, after the second wave today, how many interviews would you estimate are left?"

I also thought percent at first, but it's definitely number.

There are probably only a handful more interview invites for HBS at this point. Sandy from the BW forum estimated there were only about 25-75 more invites left on Tuesday. Based on the number of people who reported invites yesterday on GC, I'm guessing all slots are now filled. Someone even reported the CA slots were all gone. Game over!!!

Sandy has been consistently underestimating the number of invites to come to suggest that his "superstars" have a better chance of getting in than the rest of us. By saying "only 5% to come" he wants us to think that the % invited in his pool is high.

I wouldn't be surprised by that. I just don't know many people applying this year so rely heavily on these forums, but also realize people lie and inflate the truth. Nobody truly knows what is going on unless they are on the AdCom themselves too. One thing that's for sure, Sandy sounds like a jackass. Oh well.

Hi,

I am a new member to this forum but have been following it for some time now. Even I applied in R2 to HBS this year with ofcourse no interview invite. But then it was always a hopeless case. As an Indian Male who is not from IIT, chances of my application being seriously considered were always low. HBS seems to have a templatized requirement when it comes to Indian Male students. Pretty sad for an institution of this stature.

Anyway, this forum has been a big support and I really want to thank all those who actively contribute to the same.

ALL THE BEST to the worthy applicants who received interview invites. Guess it's time to move on...

BSfury I agree with you. HBS is my HOLY GRAIL univ that I have always dreamt of. I am also in the same boat.
