What is the number of members of Club X who are at least 35 years of age?
(1) Exactly 3/4 of the members of club X are under 35 years of age --> 1/4 of the members are at least 35 years of age. But we don't how many members there are in club X. Not sufficient.
(2) The 64 women in Club X constitute 40 percent of the club's membership --> # of members of the club X is 64/0.4 = 160. But we know nothing about their age. Not sufficient.
(1)+(2) The total number of members is 160, out of which 1/4, or 40, are at least 35 years of age. Sufficient.
Answer: C.
