Hey,
It's after 9am, a lot of folks are on edge waiting to hear from the AdCom, and people are discussing scholarship money, so I'd like to bring up another point of discussion to kill time.
I applied round three, which was stated as the cutoff for scholarships. It has been that way in the past, and was stated to be that way this year. Then, a few weeks after the R3 deadline Cornell announced that they were extending scholarship consideration to round 4 applicants.
Did this bother anyone else that applied Round 3? I didn't exactly rush to get a R3 app in, but I'm guessing some people did and may have been able to offer a better app if they had waited until R4. In addition, there will likely be some dilution to rounds one through three scholarship offers that will go instead to round four applicants. I just thought that was kind of lame. Anyone else?
