That sucks, sorry to hear that. Ariel is a current student who got in from the WL last year. She held a chat seminar about WL best practices a little while back. She will probably give you some good tips if you PM her.

@ Moiuday: congrats!!! Wow great news!! Excellent. Are you ganna travel to Ithaca?? I highly recommend it. I have been there twice and I had a fantastic time.

@Cookiesn: I was cheering for you yesterday! It was so nice to hear you got a great offer. Now that they released the official decisions online, Did you receive any info about the scholarship money (I mean in the application site)??

Nothing on the scholarship. The caller did mention that I will get a separate email from their fin aid office with the scholarship but that hasn't come through yet.

no answer yet...! Actually my status never changed from "Interview Scheduled"
Since there are some applicants who were invited to interview just today... I am guessing I may also be among those who won't get an decision notification today...
I think I will write them to find out later in the afternoon...

I did get a call but I cant remember whether the adcom gave me a timeline for the financial aid email. Does anyone else recall a deadline? Any internationals going to Ithaca for the Destination Johnson? Is it worth the expense?

Thanks litser... relieved but as I said yesterday - was hoping against hope. I am going to drive to Ithaca, I live 5 hours away. Anyone else going to campus to interview?

Waitlisted here too. Very stressed about this process so far. I invested so much time and energy this year but still have no admit at all...

I actually received the scholarship award 1 hr. ago via email. My call came on Friday evening, and at that point the adcom made no mention of an award. I'm not internationally based, so I was under the impression that those decisions were to come later in the week, per some earlier posts in this thread.

Regardless, I'm very excited-- softens the blow from my Kellogg waitlist today!

Just received an email from AdCom stating that I will not be receiving any financial aid from Cornell. ...oh well, that will just make my decision that much easier :lol:
