Hey everyone - what's the typical turnaround time from interview to getting the call? I interviewed this past Tuesday and wondering at what point do I start to get worried?

From what I've noticed Cornell is pretty quick. I interviewed last Wednesday and heard back this past Wednesday. I'm also a Consortium applicant so I know the time frames may be different.

i got an interview invite about 2 weeks ago, and i recently went to a local happy hour arranged by the admissions people, and i'd say half the people at least didn't get an interview yet and they were told by the admissions folks that they haven't gotten to them yet, and it's not bad news.

don't panic yet guys, there's plenty of time left.

Does anyone know if Cornell typically waits until D-Day to announce decisions all at once, or if they call people in the days and weeks leading up to D-day?

From last year's forum, it looks like accept calls started going out the day before decision deadline.

Has anyone's status been updated to the following?
"Complete - Your application is complete for final review by the selection committee. We will post your final decision or send an update by 9 a.m. Eastern time on the published notification date for your round."

Not sure if I can glean anything positive or negative from that?

- i.e. is definitely strange, so u have also not received an e mail from them.
i saw last year's thread someone was actually called for an interview on the decision date.

May be you should call them. I would definitely do that, I feel like calling them even now (although i am a R3 applicant), but have restrained myself so far.

But there is no reason why you should not.

Hey guys. Do you recall any R1 or R2 applicant being invited to an interview around or less than three weeks before the notification date? I am sort of losing hope here, I am an international applicant and I have been under review for more than 4 weeks now. My stats: 710/4WE/Energy.

I am trying to stay positive here, but the waiting is wearing me down. I think that visiting the school, attending classes and meeting students, faculty and admissions members actually made it worse, cause now I am more excited than ever about the program!
