I've been studying on and off for six months.
I thought I'd been making really good progress as of late.
I've been at it hard now for the past couple weeks, and tonight I wrote a practice exam (the free mgmat one) and I scored a 480. I'm totally rattled. My GMAT is booked for 2 weeks from today. I feel like I haven't even cracked a book.
I have an admissions consultant, and am aiming at a top school. I don't want to take the chance and apply in round three, and R2 applications are all due shortly after the New Year.
Sigh.

What is the score split? Was this your 1st test? How and what did you study in the last 6 months? Give us all the details so that we could help you 
2 weeks is a short time to improve on your skills in RC and CR but Quant and SC is something you can improve a lil bit. MGMAT math is more difficult than the actual GMAT so your 480 is not as bad as it looks.

What was your split score? Which areas do you score poorly on (eg, RC, DS...)?
