I am trying to decide between BC and SUNY Albany for the MS Accounting, Here is the rundown:
Albany Pros - Tuition and rent is about 12,000 + 20,000 (after interest total = 37,500)
- Interesting/Flexible curriculum
- Two Years (good because it offers 2 chances for internships)
- New business school will be finished and ready for next spring
Albany Cons - Non-Target & limited recruiting
- Two Years (accrued interest and opp cost of not working for a year)
BC Pros - Solid semi-target with reputable brand
- Quality companies come to campus for undergrad for networking
- One Year program
BC Cons - Tuition and rent is about 60,000 (after interest total = roughly 90,000)
- Unsure of graduate reputation & resources
One other thing to mention is that I may get an assistanship making Albany even less expensive. I would really appreciate your help and thoughts on my situation as I have to make a decision very soon. Thanks in advance.
