Guys,
UCLA's guidelines on the foreign transcripts are as follows:
Quote:
Applicants who received their undergraduate degree from a university OUTSIDE the United States must send ALL of the following:
- Official transcript in the native language of the country, certified as official with the school's original seal
- Complete translation into English of the transcript, certified by the school itself or else by a certified translator
- Degree certificate or diploma copy in the native language of the country, certified as official with the school's original seal, showing the exact degree received and date awarded
- Complete translation into English of the degree certificate, certified by the school itself or else by a certified translator Then it says -
Quote:
The UCLA Anderson MBA Admissions Committee can use the transcript copies you upload with your application to do a preliminary evaluation of your academic qualifications. and
Quote:
Make a low-resolution photocopy of your transcripts
I have a practical question in this relation. How should I deal with these uploads?
Option 1. Make the photocopy of my foreign language transcripts and then with the attached English translation send it to UCLA in a single pdf-file, and after that - send all that official stuff they require.
Option 2. Solely use the translation of the transcript in xls-file from another school's template (i.e. a translated version of the transcript without that "low-resolution photocopy"), and after that - send all the official stuff (with stamps etc.) they require.
What option is admissible for UCLA? Maybe, you have similar experiences in other schools, what did you do?
I just want to diminish that paper/photocopy work if it is possible ...
