Transcripts info required

Folks,

I have a general question here. Forgive me if i sound naive.
The university where im applying requires me to send all my engineering transcripts in a selaed envelope to their postal address. It says i should send photocopies which arecertified/aatested transcripts . Now

1. Should i send all the marks sheets of individual semesters i spent during my engineering?

2. What are certified transcripts? Whose signature i should take on them ?

Does anyone here has similar experience?

1. Yes
2. I used copies of the marks sheets in a sealed envelope. Each envelope, containing all the marksheets had the registrar's seal on it.

Get as many sets as you need for all the places you intend to apply to.

Can you tell me who all can certify the transcripts? Any idea?

Just apply for transcripts at examination branch of the university. Those guys will take care of certifying aspect. I don't think transcripts signed by gazetted officers can be called official transcripts.

Right. The unversity Registrar will send the transcripts in a sealed, stamped envelope.
