Transcripts Question

I'm hoping another member will know the answer to this since I'm having trouble locating one...
Does ASU need to be in possession of my official transcripts by the admission deadline, or will the application be accepted if the transcripts are on their way?
Because of an issue in the records and admissions department of my undergraduate university, I will not be able to order my transcripts until late next week and was worried that they may show up too late because of this. I am hoping that a scan of my personal copy will be sufficient for the application process if the official is en route.
Thanks for your help and I hope everyones essays and applications are going well!

AndrewPGlover you need to submit your official transcripts by the admission deadline. I think they do allow a couple of days for the transcripts to reach them. Nevertheless, send across a mail to the adcom team and let them know of your situation. I think they should be able to accommodate your request.
