I've read a few posts of fellow classmates praising the program in general, but here are my two cents about what I believe is truly valuable in this MBA program:
1. Opportunities AbroadThis program is called Tsinghua MIT Global MBA for a reason. If I'm not mistaken, this year we have 4 classmates going to do their semester abroad at MIT in Boston. Apart from them, many others are going to universities like Yale, HEC Paris, and many other prestigious schools around the world. There are tons of opportunities for both national and international students to go abroad for their second year and you should take full advantage of it.
2. NetworkIf you want to do business in China, networking is essential and Tsinghua is the best University in all of China to do this. Our advisory board is comprised of heavy weights such as Elon Musk (Tesla, CEO), Lloyd Blankfein (Goldman Sachs, CEO), Tim Cook (Apple, CEO), and many others. This offers a unique opportunity to meet them in person on campus and to participate in seminars, but it also opens a lot of doors into the business world after you graduate. Classmates are also another great way of networking since the majority have working experience in major companies, are extremely proactive and intelligent, and are the crème de la crème of China.
3. Speakers, Guests, and Elective ClassesLastly, there are many great elective classes to choose from, tons of prestigious guest speakers that you can see, and honorable guests that you wouldn't have access to anywhere else in the world. Apart from the mandatory classes such as Accounting, Finance, and Economics, there is much more that Tsinghua MIT Global MBA program offers such as strategy classes with McKinsey partners, and much more.
