As the only GMAT Club member with a verified 800 GMAT score, as someone who can reliably score 51 on the verbal section of the GMAT, and as a member of the team that created the Target Test Prep Criticial Reasoning Course, I can tell you with certainty that the Target Test Prep Critical Reasoning Course is a very thorough and effective course that you can use to achieve perfect accuracy on CR when you take the GMAT.

Recently, our student Vedant scored 760 on the GMAT, twice. His exact words: “The Verbal was launched recently and honestly covers everything. I’ve no idea why it’s still classified as “Beta”. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of Verbal questions as well. I only used TTP Verbal and then OG & GMATPrep for my Verbal preparation, got V45 twice and my 6 mocks ranged from V46-49. I found GMAT CR easy after TTP’s CR course. Bottom Line: TTP Verbal, despite being “beta”, is sufficient to score V45+. The RC module will be launched soon as well, and I’m sure it will be amazing.” You can read the rest of his review ].

I also invite you to attend a live interview with Vedant this Saturday at 10 am Pacific Time, to learn how he used the Target Test Prep verbal course to score V45 on the GMAT.

Hi Marty - I've recently purchases four months of ttp and I enjoy it so far.

I did have a question about the reading comprehension section - will this be launched in the next 2-3 months?

If not, what would you recommend - is it enough that I use the RC section in the Manhattan books?

Edit:probably important:I got a 650 without prep Q41V39 and looking to get 730 to 760.

Hi BSchoolinAUS.

I'm glad to hear that you like the course.

Regarding TTP RC, it should be out around the end of July.

So, you're going to be able to use the TTP course for all of GMAT verbal. In fact, I'd like to see you join the TTP V51 Club.

Stay in touch, and enjoy the game!

Oh that's great news. At this point will verbal exit beta, or is there more to be added?

While I have you, I was hoping to get your opinion. Is 750 a realistic goal coming from my current no-prep 650 score? I plan to study 3 to 4 months mostly with ttp but can supplement after if needed. I will work hard but I also don't want to have an unrealistic goal.

Once RC is added, TTP Verbal will exit beta mode, and the truth is that people have already been using TTP Verbal to achieve stellar GMAT verbal scores, partly because the CR portion covers much of what's needed to ace RC.

Regarding seeking to get from 650 to 750 with three to four months of fairly intense preparation, yes, that is realistic.

To get primed to knock GMAT verbal out of the park, you could read this post, if you haven't already. How to Score High on GMAT Verbal

Thanks Marty.

I'll aim for 12 to 20 hours a week depending. Luckily I match well to this exam type and a half to full ride scholarship is in the balance so motivation is easy.

Appreciate the help and I'll check back in in November!
