TheAmazingAnt - We hear you and empathize with you in your situation regarding Target Test Prep. Clearly, you are not able to apply all your learning to solve actual problems. Therefore, I strongly believe there exists some gap in the learning phrase. If you are not able to solve problems effectively, then it makes sense that your error log is growing, a situation that further strengthens my belief that your learning phase was not completed in the most effective way. Did you complete the course, or are you at least following the study plan as presented?

Also, I would like to know your intent behind creating this post. Are you trying to reach out to forum members for help or flagging certain aspects of the Target Test Prep course. If it is the former, then I am afraid you should discuss the situation with the Target Test Prep team separately, for your are an existing student. If it is the latter, then I see no point in creating a post in the GMAT General forum; instead, you can provide a detailed course review after taking the GMAT when you have a valid GMAT score. Please let me know so that I can move the topic to the appropriate section of the forum.

Thanks for reaching out. The question “Are there any platforms out there that utilize video learning BEFORE being asked questions surrounding key concepts?” would be applicable to “seeking help/advice/suggestions.” Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I'm a couple weeks into TTP Quant and I'm just not understanding a few key concepts without additional support from other platforms.

Often, when studying and going through example problems it makes sense. However, when the real example problems come, I find there are too many new variables and I'm quickly overwhelmed.

As a result, I keep failing and my error logs become longer and longer. So many of these concepts would make much more sense if the variables/videos were presented BEFORE the question. So far, I have not encountered ONE video that was presented BEFORE failing a question, only afterwards. Is this a TTP specific way of learning? Are there any platforms out there that utilize video learning BEFORE being asked questions surrounding key concepts?

Thank you.

NOTE: I will say, the customer service so far is pretty great for TTP, but it's the learning method that just does not fit well for me. Videos before-hand would be extremely beneficial.

Hi TheAmazingAnt,

We understand that a few concepts have to be simplified before bringing on the questions. Why don't you check out the free trial of GMATWhiz and see if the way of teaching suits you or not?

We tried t simplify the concepts and make the learning a lot more easy for the students to understand. Hope you like the free trial.

Feel free to get in touch if you need any more help.
