I completed my interview, and it went really well. The interviewer was great, and the questions were quite standard—Why MBA? Why Tuck? Why now? I tried to connect a couple of questions in one of my answers, and it seemed to work, as the interviewer appeared impressed. After each of my responses, he gave positive feedback, which was encouraging. There was one new question that caught me a bit off guard. He asked me to imagine that I got into Tuck, and it was my graduation day—what would I see as my greatest earning? I took a moment to gather my thoughts and replied: "Throughout my current journey, both in my team and in life, people have looked up to me. They still do today. On my graduation day, I would want to see that I’ve built a similar reputation at Tuck—that the first-year students of that time look up to me the same way. - I have also connected some past examples of this thing" I’m not sure if it was the perfect answer, but it felt like the best I could articulate in the moment. Given Tuck’s low interview conversation rate, I’m uncertain about the outcome, but overall, I left the interview feeling good.

Had my interview with a very friendly 2nd year student (like DUH!!.. its tuck!) Brief Intro rather than a typical tell me about yourself then walk me through your resume 2 follow ups on my resume. and another follow up on one of the follow up questions. why MBA? Why now? why tuck ? Biggest achievement at your work place. Feedback given and feedback taken. Something for the Adcom Questions for the interviewer.

How do you plan on leveraging the resources (cont. from your answer for why tuck) at Tuck to achieve your goals? Which aspect are you excited about/eager to participate in? 5. Describe a feedback that you’ve given and one that you’ve taken, how did you go about the entire process? 8. 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses There were a couple follow-up questions here and there, based on the answers I gave.

The interview was blind (resume-based). The interviewer was in a bit of rush (I suppose due to multiple meetings). I joined 10 mins earlier than my time and she was already present. We jumped right in and wrapped up with additional questions in about 30 mins. Overall the feel was quite warm and encouraging with her sharing details about her own experience in tid-bits. Questions - 1. Walk me through your resume/TMAY? 2. ST/LT Goals 3. Why MBA/Tuck/Now? 4. TMAT when - received critical feedback/accomplished something in a project/helped someone? 5. What is something new that you learnt recently? 6. Any questions for me? Mostly it was a repeat of most of the questions I have seen here or on ClearAdmit. Just be thorough with your narrative. ATB everyone!

I had my interview in-person as part of a visit day. It was very straightforward. With a 2nd year. She was very nice and made the interview conversational interwoven between questions and based on my answers. Questions themselves were very basic MBA interview questions and don't seem to have changed based on the other interview debriefs I've seen here: - Tell me about yourself - Why MBA? - LT/ST goals - Why Tuck - Tell me about a challenging situation - Time you had to give feedback - Time you received feedback

Pretty standard: 1) Tell me about yourself and why we’re having this chat (basically why MBA) 2) Tell me where Tuck fits into this 3) Short and long term goals 4) Time when you gave feedback for something difficult 5) Time when you received difficult feedback 6) Something you’re proud of (which I think is where I should have used my planned answer showcasing my "Smart" quality, but changed my mind in the interview, which I regret) 7) Anything else you want us to know In terms of sources, I spoke to several people on this sub privately for advice, and also watched Tuck Q&A events, along with using MBA Mission’ free interview guide.

I interviewed with a second year student. They seemed to have a list of questions and then go through one by one, so it’s hard to know that it went well or not. 1) TMAY 2) Why MBA? Why Tuck? LT/ST 3) Biggest achievement & failure 4) TMAT when you deal with a difficult person / took initiative 5) Any part to add in It lasted around 45 minutes

Had my Tuck interview on 10th Jan. The interview was for about 35 mins. Started with standard questions Tell me about you? Why MBA? Why Tuck? How tuck will help you achieve your aspirations? what are the things you wish to do in Tuck? what do you bring to tuck? Then onto some behavioural questions: Tell me about a time you failed? tell me about a time you handled conflicts? what is your biggest accomplishment and why. And then there were a few off topic questions: Do you want to talk about something that is special to you (not exactly worded like this, but this was kind of what they were asking) Then towards the end, “do you think I should have asked you something but I didn’t, you can talk about it” Then questions I have for the interviewer. The interviewer was very friendly and nice, I felt at ease from the word go. Fingers crossed 🤞

Had the standards questions: - tell me about yourself - why MBA? - why Tuck? - why should Tuck consider you? - biggest strength and weakness - a time when I received critical feedback - a time when I had to give critical feedback - talk about the project that I am the most proud of - any questions for the interviewer

1. Walk through resume 2. STG/LTG 3. Why MBA 4. Why Tuck 5. Contributions to Tuck 6. A time when you took initiatives 7. A time when you stepped out of comfort zone 8. A time when you received feedback 9. A time when you helped someone 10. Anything would like to share The interview lasted for about 45 minutes and the interviewer was super nice and actively listening and taking notes. My tips would be: 1. Prepare 5-7 stories that you really wanna tell. I have prepared stories in the following seven categories: achievement, failure, conflict, receive feedback, give feedback, deliver a bad news, strengths&weaknesses. I think these are enough to handle any behavioral questions. 2. Keep practicing until you can tell them in a natural and engaging way. You don't wanna sound scripted but you don't wanna stutter either. Before the interview I have walked through the "Whys" and 7 stories in entirety for at least 5 times (English is not my native language) 3. I would suggest in your "why school" response, make sure you do your research and "show off" some unique points. My interviewer gave me a big smile when they heard I mentioned a very specific aspect of Tuck. 4. I would also suggest use the last "anything would like to share" section to tell the story you feel most impactful if it's not shared in your other responses. 5. And be yourself and relax!

Had a virtual interview. Typical walk me through your resume, why Tuck, why MBA. There were no "tell me about..." questions. It was more centered around, these projects on your resume sound cool, can you walk me through them (getting the story behind the bullets). Interviewer was very warm, friendly, and asked very natural questions.
