I had opted for a virtual interview.
I was matched with a 2nd year student who was a marine veteran, who had done a consulting intern. He was so awesome! super comforting yet professional and was really attentive. The overall interview was for around 45 minutes, with roughly 7-8 minute for questions and rest was our discussion. The only hiccup I made was not being very well versed with my Why Tuck response, but felt made ground on it on how will I contribute to Tuck question. Apart from this, I felt my interview went really well.
Questions:
Walk me through your CV
Your biggest achievement?
Talk more about the carbon market tool you developed
More about your experience in Tokyo
Disagreement
Why MBA? (I included ST and LT goals here)
Why Tuck?
Giving someone hard feedback
How will you contribute?
Questions that I have for him

My Interview
It was a very conversational, friendly interview. He asked about myself and later made 3-4 follow up questions. And from that, the conversation stemmed.
A question I wasn’t ready for was: “is there anything you’d want the admissions committee to know about you?”
It took me a minute to answer. But overall, very friendly.

Just got done with my interview.
My interviewer was taking so many notes. It almost made me nervous. But she was warm.
Questions were generic, why mba, why tuck, how will you contribute, 1 feedback you got, what are you proud of, etc.
I was asked 1 follow up question also, very basic one on a behavioral question only.
It ended up for about 40 min in total.
I got time to ask questions as well in the end. Overall it was good, but I do feel I could have structured it better at places.
All the best to all of you.

Hey guys,
Got done with my Tuck interview. It was with a second year student.
Started with “TMAY”, i covered major aspects about my life and career in that. (I try to showcase the school’s required values in this monologue only)
Since it was Tuck, i delved deeper into Why MBA and Why Tuck. (Tuck takes this very seriously)
There were only 3 TMAT questions. (About a time when i helped someone who was struggling professionally, about a professional mistake i committed and i don’t remember third one)
Interview lasted for exactly 30 minutes.

It was pretty much a standard MBA interview starting with Introduction and goals then Why MBA now and Why Tuck
Then I got 3 behavioral questions and also was asked tell me a story reflecting your main strength and one about main weakness
Then last 10 mins were for asking questions to the interviewer
In total 45-50 mins
Also, they send the interviewer’s name about 2 hrs before the interview

I had my interview about 2 weeks ago. It is meant to last 30-45 minutes. Mine lasted about 50 because I extended a bit on my answers.
It is meant to be very conversational. They intend to open with a walk me through your CV o tell me about yourself. And then the interviewer will ask follow ups and behavioral questions. You will have time to ask the interviewer some questions. So I suggest you have 4-5 questions planned for the interviewer.

It was a second year student. Be very thorough about your resume. They why and what of each bullet point.
I was asked why I chose my current company. But the questions were not to validate but to understand.
Then it’s all the usual question
Why Tuck/MBA/now?
What you will get and how you will contribute.

Just had my Tuck interview, it was fairly conversational and the interviewer was very friendly.
Questions -
- TMAY
- Why MBA
- STG and LTG
- Why consulting and not big tech
- Produest achievement
- Follow up on the same
- TMAT you disagreed with manager
- TMAT you helped someone
- What will your legacy at Tuck be
- Question on a community experience
- Any questions/ Something you would like me to know
She asked a lot of follow up questions to keep the conversation engaging before jumping to next questions and that’s why I think there were lesser behavioural questions. Lasted for odd 40 mins

The interviewer came across as very straight up from the beginning. There wasn’t much of a friendly vibe initially—he seemed to be a no-nonsense personality, reading directly from his sheet and keeping things formal. He asked me all the mainstream/core questions without much cross-questioning. However later i had a few curve ball questions. As against 45 minutes, my interview went upto 60 minutes.
Towards the end, however, the tone shifted. We had a more open and friendly conversation, which I really enjoyed. Overall, everything went well, and I felt confident in my responses.
Questions asked:
1. Walk me through your resume
2. Short-term career goal
3. What is your Plan B?
4. What classes will you take and why?
5. What legacy do you want to leave at Tuck?
6. Tell me about a time you got critical feedback
7. Tell me about a time your weakness created a difficulty for you
8. Tell me about a time you had to deliver hard news to someone
9. What did you learn about Tuck today?
10. Three words that define you with respect to Tuck
P.S. Also, a big thank you to GMAT Club. I prepared from the interview question banks shared here over the last 6 years, and honestly, many of my questions came directly from there. So please leverage these debriefs — make a list of all the questions, prepare thoroughly.

Interview was very casual! Interviewer did a great job of making me feel comfortable and did a great job of actively listening to what I had to say. Also, gave a genuine response to his/her opinion of the culture of the school. Was asked, “tell me where you’re from,” “Why MBA/Why Tuck,” and “tell me about a time you empowered others.”
