hey guys, I am applying to Tuck and had a question about the career goals essay. Is it okay to say your goal after Tuck is to work for a long-biased hedge fund or mutual fund? Since it is a general management school, i'm not sure how they view it. Thanks in advance!

Yes providing it is coherent with your previous experience and there is some form of logic to it. I've met current students who have interned at mutual funds

Yes, you should say this. Try to be as specific as you can about your short and long term goals, because this will tell the AdCom that you have a clear idea of why you are doing and MBA. You just need to make sure that the goals are realistic based on (1) your profile and (2) the school.
For e.g. if you are applying to a school ranked very low, and your goal is to get into one of the Big 4 consulting firms, make sure that your dream company recruits alumni of that particular school.
Secondly, your goal must be ambitious, but also realistic - i.e. when you say you want to reach position X in 3 years, make sure that given your knowledge and experience level, this is achievable.
