I agree with ywilfred on 2nd and 3rd question, but I think for the 1st question we need to use 'hopes'. I think 'each' and every' require singular verb

each student and just only one instructor.

There are two people at least.

Therefore, I agree with ywilfred.

I go with A,A,B

1. should be hope because you can read it as "each student AND instructor (both) hope for a new facility by next year."

1)Each and every student and instructor in this building __________ for a new facility by next year.

Ans: hope. additive 'and' will create a compound noun. So you need a plural hope

2) The students and instructors each ________for a new facility by next year

Ans: hope (same reasoning)

3)The International Club, as well as the Choral Society and the Rowing Club, __________ to submit a new constitution.

Ans: needs
'as well as' will not result in a compound noun, so you need a singular needs.

For 2, the word 'each' doesn't make a subject singular. Ans should be hopes[singular verb] rather than hope [plural verb].

1 Hope
2 Hope
3 need

in 3rd choice

as well as the Choral Society doesn't compound the subject but "and the Rowing Club" does. hence you need plural verb need

had it been

The International Club, as well as the Choral Society then needs would be ok

I thought these 3 questions are related to the same concept so put them in the same question but whoever answers them please do write your reasoning.
