I scored exactly the same score 0f 600 in both attempts ..I gave the gmat last week of april and gave the test again last week... extremely disappointed in myself...I was a fool to rush in so soon 
I improved in quants from 41 to 46 while i performed terribly in verbal.
I have been using the standard materials ... but the problem I think I have is that I have not been adhering to any strategy with CR and RC questions. I am fairly confident with SC q's.
Like everybody at gmatclub...I am not going to give up, no matter what. This time I want to conquer the beast and move ahead...
Can I get some suggestions as to how I should pace my prep ...would an online course (like GMAX) help me gain some strategies...when should I take the test again...

You ask about the GMAX Online course. Check out some of the lessons here in the review of the course and on You Tube. You will see how carefully and thoroughly we teach the concepts and strategies for all the different subjects.
You must be prepared, however, to study properly if you aim to raise your score seriously. They typical student studies for about 2 hours a day: one day to take a lesson, the next day to study it and do the homework.
After you have taken the midterm exam and seen your progress (we include 3 CAT GMATs with the course), you should be able to schedule your test. Be careful, however, not to schedule it too early. You want to have enough time to finish the course, do a thorough review, and take practice tests.
