Two boys, Joe and Seth, can mow a lawn in 2 hours thirty minutes. If 3 other boys, Mike, Tommy and Teddy, helped, how long would it take to mow the same lawn with all of them starting at the same time?
(1) It would take Mike and Tommy the same time to each mow the lawn individually.
(2) Teddy mows faster than both Mike and Tommy.

If 3 more join with them, the time taken is less than 2 hr 30 mins.
Statement 1:
(1) It would take Mike and Tommy the same time to each mow the lawn individually.
The rates of Mike and Tommy is same.
Without knowing teddy or the total time, we cannot arrive at anything conclusive.
Hence, Insufficient
Statement 2:
(2) Teddy mows faster than both Mike and Tommy.
without knowing the individual rates, or how much faster ? we cannot arrive at anything conclusive.
Hence, Insufficient
Combining both Statements 1 and 2, we cannot find the total time taken when all are working.
