Salary A + Salary B = 19200
\(\frac{Expenditure A}{ Expenditure B}\) = \(\frac{1}{2}\) & \(\frac{Savings A}{ Savings B}\) = \(\frac{2}{1}\)
So Say Savings A is 2y which is 40% of his salary, that means
0.4 * Salary A = 2y
Salary A = 5y
Salary A = Expenditure A + Savings A
5y = 1x + 2y
x = 3y
Salary B = Expenditure B + Savings B
= 2x + y
= 7y
Salary A + Salary B = 19200
5y + 7y = 19200
12y = 19200
y = 1600
Salary B = 7y = 7*1600 = 11200
Ans is C
