GMAT Club Official Solution:
Pump X rate = 1/10 tank per minute
Pump Y rate = 1/20 tank per minute
Together rate = 1/10 + 1/20 = 3/20 tank per minute
In 5 minutes, filled = 5 * 3/20 = 15/20 = 3/4 of the tank
Remaining = 1/4 of the tank
After X is turned off, Y alone fills at 1/20 tank per minute.
Time for remaining 1/4 = (1/4)/(1/20) = 5 minutes.
Answer: B.

Time taken by pumps X and Y = 10 and 20 minutes.
Let the total capacity of the tank be 20 units.
The efficiency of Pump X and Pump Y = 2: 1.
Both the pumps work together for 5 minutes. So, 5*(2+1) = 15 units is filled.
Remaining units = 20 -15 = 5 units.
Pump X is turned off, and Pump Y operates.
Additional time taken = 5/1 = 5 minutes.
