Hey y'all
I was just approved into the UC Irvine MSF.
Though the program is relatively new (Started in 2017) the curriculum seems to be really comprehensive and with a lot of effort into career services.
While speaking with the admissions office there they told me that due to the program being new they don't have a lot of employment stats, but they calculate that the post-program employment rate is around 90%. The Uni seems to be prestigious nationally and with a lot of alumni.
As an international student, the program being classified as STEM helps a lot.
I was also approved in PURDUE and OHIO ST MSF program (with 20% Scholarship).
I was wondering if any of you have an opinion on UCI MSF program?

I'd do OSU, then Purdue and finally Irvine.
It is a new program and it takes a while to place MSF students. UC Irvine is a fine school, but I wouldn't consider it to be one of the top schools in California (UCLA, USC, Stanford, UC Berkley, etc). In a couple years maybe things change, but the OSU MSF has been around for nearly a decade with this program and has established placements. Purdue has been around for a long time and the school is very well regarded. Those are the safer choices.
It is a new program and it takes a while to place MSF students. Purdue, Ohio State, and UCI are all renowned schools and MSF is an all-embracing master’s stream to opt for.
Even though the MSF degree program at UCI is relatively new, the school stands esteemed globally.
Moreover, since the school is located in California, you’d be near Silicon Valley- which is in the northern part of California. It is known as a global tech hub and you’ll have ample opportunities to in leading Fin-tech organizations.
Thus, in my best advice, you shall set your sight on the UCI MSF degree program.
