First-time poster here. Quick background, I am from China, went to the states for college and worked at technology consulting firm for the past 3 years. I am admitted to Anderson and Stern with scholarships. My post business school goal is to get into product management in tech companies and eventually go back to China. Really appreciate any insights here to help make the decision.

UCLA is equally well known in Asia - and you'd be in a good position to recruit in tech firms.
I'd go with UCLA on this one.

My gut feeling (not corroborated by facts) is that the reason Anderson has good tech placement is that many people come in from tech and go back to their original industry. Anderson does not have great on-campus recruiting and while the program has many other benefits, strong career services/placements is not something it is known for.
I would look at where you want to end up after graduation (West vs. East Coast). I would probably cast my vote towards Stern. It's been coming back in rankings and i have seen a good amount of positive momentum in the last 3 years.
