Hi
Admissionado,
I'm seeking to apply to MF, MS, or even Mphil programs at higher tier UK schools, specifically the new MFA at LBS, the MF at LSE, Mphil in Finance at Cambridge, and the MFE at Oxford
My background:
-BCom in Finance (with honors) at the second ranked university in Canada - Cumulative GPA = 3.9+/4.0 US GPA
-Multiple scholarships for academic excellence, along with a pretty competitive one for being top 5% of my class
-Internship experience at China's sovereign wealth fund and a law firm
-International exchange experience at Guanghua school of management, Peking University (average of ~95%)
-Good sports/ECs
Do I stand a chance of getting into these schools with a GMAT of 750 but Q48? I was consistently hitting Q50 on my practice exams, but due to getting 2 hours of sleep the day of the exam, I was very sluggish and managed my time poorly. I know Oxford/Cambridge requires a Q50 at least for consideration, so am I out of the running just because I have a Q48?
Thanks in advance.
