I would equate the commitment to an MBA to getting married. It is only normal to get cold feet in anticipation of tough times.

But remember, several people get MBAs every year. These people are just like you and me. If they can do it, so can we.

I keep reading this as "unable to compete at B School".

Which is something I find more fearsome, but am very keen to put to the test - I am very eagre to get back to proving myself on an academic footing.

I just want to get your ideas about a new topic, which hasn't discussed before.

Rhyme, you told me that GSB was very supportive and I also heard a few times from second year students that it's quite easy to survive there if you are serious about learning. Getting an A needs more time and effort. Plus, there are always someone in campus helping you. We can manage our workload and rigorous program, which I like very much and spend more time to build our network and search friends, jobs...etc

But what about other programs which people often say their program are insane? And I want to know the other side of "green grass field"

I'm not pessimistic, but curious about anyone who cannot finish at a top B-school because of its rigorous academic program? What does the school do with these guys? Do they have to drop out of school after a probation? Any stats about it?

I'm insecure enough about the GSB already man.... don't put these thoughts in my head!!!!

I think schools do a pretty good job of screening out people who lack the intellectual/academic ability. I think what it comes down to is time-management. As Lepium said somewhere before, when people say that a classes are hard, they generally don't mean, "I don't understand what the professors are trying to teach me," but rather they mean, "I don't know when I'm going to have time to read over my notes and read all the material in the text book because I have four guest speakers I want to see this week, and my flag-football team just made it to the semifinals."
