1) As much as I like the ultra elite MBA programs and what they have to offer their students, your decision to transfer between undergraduate business schools should stand or fall on the merits of those undergraduate schools themselves. As you well know, UNC CH has a great BSBA program. Evalute your current program and the program at Chapel Hill carefully to determine which is better for you. Take an especially close look at the firms that recruit at the two schools.
2) You might have sensed where this is going- for the majority of students it is a good idea to get work experience before heading to an MBA program. The experience you gain will be extremely valuable in enhancing your learning in business school and the learning of those around you. One advantage of attending one of the top cluster undergrad programs is that it provides the prestige factor of a major business school without having to attend an MBA program immediately after finishing college (of course, you can attend on of these MBA programs after a few years).
