Another D.

But, I have a question here. Is "bolong in" a correct idiom? Since there is no option here with "belong to", D seems the best.

OA is D.
CAn u explain how 'that' and 'should' in B is wrong?
@scthakur, That was exactly my reason for not chosing d as I thought belong to is the correct idiom

I think the answer is D

A and C are incorrect because 'belonging' requires a possessive noun
B is incorrect because 'that' and 'should' are coming togetherE is very awkward and wordy

D is also slightly awkward but, I think, it is the best option available. Ideal option could have been, "....convinced that.....belonged to the university"

Hi mates,

for me B is wrong because with the use of "and", the sentence is comparing the fact that the social work education should belong to the university and the fact that in the university the students will receive several courses.

However, D subordinates both clauses, which is the appropriate way.

Hope this clarifies

Cheers
