Except D, All choices have comparison errors
A - Countries are compared to thailand's crafts
B - Same error as A
C - Crafts are not compared to the thailand's crafts
D - Correct

IN ADDITION TO MAADHUS EXPLANATION
CORRECT IDIOM :
BOTH X AND Y. ==>X AND Y ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PARALLEL.
NOW if we see AND is in the non underlined portion and we dont have BY after AND so all options having BY after BOTH can be eliminated basis this.
hence we can eliminate A/B/C.
OPTION E can be eliminated on the basis of COMPARISON.
