Hey all. I'm stuck right now. I was hoping for a higher score, and am considering re-taking the test come December. However, the $$ and time spent studying are going to drag me down, especially since I was anxious to start studying for the Level II CFA exam in June.
I believe quant really brought down my score. I spent too much time trying to solve this one hard problem (yes, I know, it's a HUGE mistake to do so) and towards the end I rushed the last 6-7 questions. My biggest worry, though, is that I could possibly get a lower score the next time...
I'll post my study methods, etc later if anyone wants to hear. Right now I'm too exhausted. Guess I just needed someone to listen. Thanks, everyone, for all of your helpful hints, questions, and for always challenging the OA.
It certainly helped me a lot.

First off, congratulation MsStephanie. I'm sure that the GMAT has exhausted you over the last months and if you do need some rest prior to the CFA, it's a good thing no to take the test again.
On the one hand, if you decide not to take the exam again, you will have to weigh your lower quant score against your quant grades in college. If both are week, you will need to address this and perhaps even take some quant classes and score As in them. On the other hand, if you decide to take the test again, apart from the financial issue, you can still make it on time for the CFA for it is alright to start the latter in mid-december, which is even considered early.
