Hi Friends,

I registered for 12th of Aug but due to certain problem I wud like to appear on 7th Aug. Is it possible to reschedule it?
Also how much I have to pay .

Yes, it is possible to reschedule as long as there is space at the test center. You will lose the entire $250 deposit.

Also, keep in mind that you can take the GMAT only once every 31 days.

Hi,

Thanks alot for your response. You have mentioned i will loose 250$, but if I am rescheduling tom (7 days before schedule day) I sud be charged 50$ . Please clarify .

I think you are right. I stand corrected. The rules are 7 days from the original date, so you should be able to squeeze by with just $50. Give GMAC a call and see what they tell you. Please report back if it is $50 or $250.

You can also apply for a refund as long as your appointment is more than 7 days out. However, you will get only $80 back. In general, if you got cold feet a few days before the test, and feel that you need to reschedule, it may be worth going and taking the test since you won't get any money back. Of course there are several theories about having a low score on your report, but more about that later.
