Need some urgent help regarding selecting schools to send scores and cancelling
Hi everybody, tomorrow I am reattempting the GMAT. First time I scored 700 (Q48, V37, IR5, AWA6.0). I am not sure if it’s convenient to me to select schools at the beginning of the test to send scores in this situations:
- If I select schools and score below the 700 mark, will the school now I reattempted it and deleted it?
- If I score slightly below and improve my Quant for example, should I cancel anyway?
- If I select schools and I end up not cancelling. What happens if I decide to cancel the score a day after? They already have the info that I reattempted and deleted it?
- What would you do if I score 700 again with either the same Q-V splits or different. Keep it or delete it?

I actually responded to you on another forum, along with someone else, so I think your questions have been sufficiently answered. To reiterate here, if you have any doubt about whether to keep or cancel your score since you can always reinstate your score at a later date, the safest move is to cancel your score up front and then decide later on how to proceed. The last thing you want is anything hanging over your head while taking your GMAT.
