I had decided to quit my well paying managerial position job after 4.5 yrs of work experience to pursue my MBA. I am an Arts student and weak at Math. I started studying in August and gave my first Gmat Prep on 30th of August and got a 380 score (Q 19/V 23). Very disappointed, I worked on brushing up the basics and completed 70% of OG13 by end of September and gave another Gmat Prep on 29th September (Yesterday) and got a 410 score (Q 21/V 25). I know I can improve on my English as I had not paid any attention to it because I was scared of Math. Verbal (SC and RC had maximum mistakes). Quant (few silly mistakes like choosing a wrong option in DS Option C/Option E confusion when I knew the answer. Also ignoring the "even" consecutive number question and worked out thinking it was just consecutive numbers). Also forgot few formulas and time clicking stresses me out
I HAVE to give the final test by 2nd Week of November and have just a month left to study. I am confused, scared and have no plan in hand on how to work this out. I need a 600+ score to get into a good college and the college deadlines are in December. Please help me plan out my study. There are so many different things available on the website and I am confused which one to opt. I know I am not stupid. I just cant figure the way out.
I request you to please help me plan out my study concentrating both on Quant (more on Quant) and Verbal. HELP

Hi. Welcome to GMAT Club!
Ah... OG is a collection of questions. it does not teach you math or anything really that you need to be learning at this point in time. It is kind of like training an athlete by sending him to competitions only....

If you know that you are weak in Maths then you can definitely refer to Gmat Club Math book. if you finish it off early enough then you can also strike off a few strategies from MGMAT maths books...practicing probs and understanding your mistakes are key to success. Do timed practice. You will notice that it makes a huge difference. Also for Verbal SC and RC are super critical. Both of them are easier to get correct when you compare them with CR. I would suggest that you become as active as possible on the gmat club and peactice, practice, and practice!
