Very valid question - There is no/very little overlap between the OG's and GMATPrep but there is quite a bit of overlap with PowerPrep.

Thanks for the important information.

I want to judge my progress so I thought powerprep could be a better option, as I don't want to waste Gmatprep for the diagnostic test.

My question is, do the questions of GmatpreP test 1 and 2 overlapp, i.e. Suppose I keep on repeating test 1 (By reinstalling) and don't touch test 2 ( which I will do just before real exam), So what are the chances I will get repeated questions at gmatprep test 2? I dont want to take any chance to waste test2.

Also there is an older version of Gmatprep, if I exhaust all the questions from olderversion of gmatprep(both the tests), what are the chances I will get repeated questions at newer version of gmatprep test 2.

My biggest concern is to keep newer gmatprep test 2 for final evaluation and exhaust all the other official question from gmatprep ( both older and newer version)

Please advice me.

Great question about the GMAT Prep - I have a feeling the banks are shared between the two tests. However, most report being able to take 4 tests without much overlap (mostly due to improving their results and no longer seeing the easier/simpler questions they encountered in the beginning).

That means in case we want to exhaust the gmatprep, we should be ready to see unwanted increase in test2.
Do you have any idea about the overlap between older version and newer version of gmatprep??
If there is no overlap I can surely exhaust all the possible questions in older version and can keep the newer for later purpose.

I think we should seek advice from the users who had experimented a lot on gmatprep. what u say??

I had one more doubt, suppose a person does well in all the gmatprep tests and unfortunately he doesnt perform well on the G-day and want to track his progress what are the options? He will remember many questions from gmatprep and this will certainly undermine his real position. I have not given any exam , this query is for my fellow friends who are retaking.
