I had got 740 on GMAT in my first attempt. I decided to retake the exam. However, due to some reason I don’t want to retake it now and want to cancel it. The date is tomorrow. I want to cancel the exam right now.

1) What is the impact of this cancellation?
2) Do schools come to know that I had rescheduled the test and then decided to cancel it ? I.e when I send the scores to them, will they see a 0 or a "Not Applicable" for my second attempt?

I do not think that anything will be mentioned on the score card if you cancel ur test. Check this link, does not mention anything except that fee will not be refunded.

Dude..... you got a 740!!!!!! and still planned to retake???? Glad you decided not to.

I don't think the scores will go to the B Schools. For the scores to go, you will have to give the B school names before starting the exam.....and if you haven't given the test at all...there is no way the scores will turn up. But yeah, if you go to the test, start the test and then cancel it mid way, then the scores will go to the schools you have mentioned before starting the test.

Moderator Edit: Kindly refrain from using certain harsh terms! Thank you.
