Hi. No, a no-show is not an attempt. GMAC only counts actual test attempts for their life-time limit and 5 yearly exam attempts for their annual limit.

Thank you for your response! So to confirm, the only "penalty" is the fee and that it will show up on the website on my account that I no-showed today?
