Hi bb,
Thank you so much for your inputs. I really appreciate it.
Let me give you a lil more context and the confusion that I have in my mind.
1. I have applied to both the colleges with a gmat waiver. So is consulting an option for me- I have heard that consulting companies need a gmat score as a requirement (I have gmat score but not close to what these companies need). Is this true? Or is it true just for MBB?
2. My second option is a product marketing/product role. After talking to ppl at Simon I believe this has become a popular option for people at Simon. I am unable to gauge where UNC stands on this. Does unc does a better job for this role or simon?
(equal or better?)
3.Talking to the people at Simon, its a popular opinion that Simon is not a target school for a lot of companies. So does the recruitment at Simon become much harder than at UNC? Or negligible? Also companies coming to the campus in both the schools- is there a lot of difference or negligible?
4. Is the brand value of UNC much better than that of Simon or is it negligible. Will it make a difference in both longer and shorter run? (Also is it worth the additional money that I will be paying at UNC- I will be taking a student loan)
5. Are the clubs at Simon as active as the clubs at UNC? (In addition would like to about the consulting and marketing clubs at both the college?)
6. Overall people and experience at Simon v/s KF
I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you so much in advance. Means a lot!
